This picture is a slightly modified scan of a drawing done by Robert Tinney (below) , an artist who is well known for his work on the covers of Byte magazine. His work does an amazing job of integrating the High Tech workd with the everyday world. i have a signed reprint of the full size picture hanging over my computer, a Gift from my lovely wife Martha. The name says it all--it's called "Winter Computing".

Robert was kind enough to give us permission to use the painting on our site...I don't yet know how and where I'm going to use it-- I just know it fits !
