Morsø’s 4600 Stainless Stove Wins the 2003 Vesta Award in Nashville

Morsø is proud to announce that their 4600 Stainless Steel model won the prestigious Hearth & Home Magazine’s 2003 Vesta Award at the Hearth Patio and Barbecue Association Expo in Nashville, TN.  The award was for innovation and technology in the Woodburning Stoves and Inserts category.

The Morsø 4600 Stainless Steel model has beautifully brushed stainless steel sides which is an increasingly popular style these days.  The 4600 is offered in a vertical style, an alternative to shorter, wider wood burning stoves on legs.  The 4600’s smaller “footprint” and close clearances are also helpful in areas where usable space is a primary consideration.  Like other Morsø models, the 4600 has a 6” reversible flue collar to vent straight back or up. At 25,000 Btu’s, the 4600 Series heats up to 800 sq. ft.

The 4600 model (also available in painted steel sides) has a large “stay-clean” glass design, convenient controls, high-efficiency stainless steel secondary combustion system, and ash pan.  Offered with a ten-year limited warranty, the 4600 Series has a cast iron firebox lined with firebrick for durability.  Recommended retail price range is $1700 - $1999.

Morsø is pleased to have won this award in their 150th year of being in the cast iron business.  Morsø wishes to thank Hearth & Home, Morsø’s North American importer Hearthlink International, and their national network of specialty retailers.
