Vermont Castings “Radiance” cast iron stove - # 1024

Question:

I have a Vermont Castings “Radiance” cast iron stove and it’s great. We’ve had it three years. I wipe it off periodically with a wet cloth. I’ve noticed lately, that it is getting a “whitish” look to the cast iron. What can I do to restore it to it’s original finish? Should I put oil on it like my pans? Or will this make a mess? I only wipe it off when it’s cold, never when it’s warm.

It comes in spray cans (very directional) and will restore your stove to factory finish.
