Where can I obtain info about how to convert a gas log fireplace to a wood burning fireplace with a gas starter?

Answer:

If the fireplace was built for gas use, you cannot convert it to wood. However, if it was formerly a wood fireplace that was converted to gas, you can simply remove the gas logs and install a gas starter in their place.
