Where can I get a replacement stove pipe for the Federal Airtight? It is an oval shaped deal at the top of the unit. I only have the stove, given to me by a friend.

Answer:

If you are going up with the pipe before turning, you can simple try to oval the crimped end of a regular 6” stovepipe to fit inside the oval. This will work in many cases…use furnace cement and screws to complete the seal.

You might be able to find an oval to round adapter to fit this stove. There are two types

1. A sheet metal adapter that fits onto the existing cast collar
2. A new cast collar that replaces the old one but has a round takeoff.
