Lever inside of pre-fab Fireplace - # 1756
Question:I have a wood burning fireplace. Inside of the fireplace is a lever that looks like an “L” that moves back and forth. Can anyone please tell me what this is used for?

I’ve seen outside air controls on pre-fab fireplaces that look like this. If the fireplace outside air sleeve was never hooked up, this may have no effect.
