HOW SAFE IS A PELLET STOVE FOR A MOBILE HOME?
HOW HOT DOES THE STOVE GET ON THE OUTSIDE TO       THE TOUCH?.....................BABY SAFETY
HOW LARGE WOULD THE STOVE HAVE TO BE TO HEAT A     14’ BY 76’ AREA?

Answer:

A pellet stove is safe for mobile homes, and will require some type of chimney for venting.  Some models allow you to terminate on the outside of a wall, versus going through the roof.  And, all models are different, but I’m sure that they are all hot to the touch.  There are child-guards screens available for this purpose.

Your application is about 1100 square feet, so something in the 35,000 Btu’s range will be fine, unless you live in a cold region.
