how hot should you stack temp be? - # 2163

I have a hearthstone heritage. I was wondering how hot should I keep the stack (i have a probe therm).

Answer:

That particular model runs a high stack temp, so it will vary from as high as 1000 degrees to as low as 200. Depends on the stage of the fire. When things are humming along, it will prob be in the 500 degree range.
