Converting a fireplace to gas - # 616

I am thinking of converting a regular fireplace to a gas fireplace. I’m sure this can be done but don’t know where to start.

Answer:

Very simple…just install a set of gas logs…Or, if you are looking for more heat, and have it in the budget, a gas fireplace insert (sealed unit) will do.

About $350-$600 for the logs, $350 for installation if you have gas within about 15 feet of the fireplace…NOTE: Prices may vary nationwide.
