E-Crane -

My bricks are cemented in with creosote. What tool did you use to get them out?

Thanks.

I used a large flat blade screwdriver.  Once you get the first one,  the rest are easy.

DOES THIS INCLUDE ALL STOVES THAT ARE EPA APPROVED (ORANGE TAG) CERTIFIED STOVES? FOR STOVES THAT ARE NEEDED IN REGULATED STATES?

Thanks for the update on the firebrick. Someone else told me about that but my dealer failed to give me the courtesy of a call. Guess that’s what I get for $12,500 I paid….

Good to get those brick out. I have about half of them cracked anyway and would have to be replacing them. Saved some $$$$.

Anyone know the current deal on ThermoPex pipe? Heard thru the Forum there might be a sale? I need to re-run my pipe in the spring and replace a “poor man’s” PEX install with real deal to save on wood. Losing too much heat to the ground….

Thanks all. So far, so good with the EC2300.

Figures it goes on sale after i bury it. I paid $18/ft for “1 1/4. But it works very well. I’ve got about 15 ft exposed in my garage, cool to the touch, gets very cold in the exposed area with 195+ degree water going thru it. Notice no heat coming of it.
