So what’s the word on the 7” flue?

Do this mean you have to run the class A system at all 7”, or are you allowed to neck it down to 6 inches?

This issue came up last year.

I have a Woodstock with a 7 inch flue, and they give you a 7-6 adapter.

They originally designed the stoves for 7 inch flues, and would have to re-certify if they started casting to 6 inches. I guess recertification is time consuming and expensive proposition.

They said they are “working on it”, whatever that means.

The 6 inch flue works fine.
