My stove has started making periodic noises which seem to be coming from the auger. It sounds like a binding that resembles a “groan”, it went from occasional to every other minute or so. Any ideas?

Have you changed pellets lately?

Have you removed the auger flight cover and cleaned the entire auger path?

They can have problems with pellet differences, there can be pieces that get stuck in the auger flight, and from time to time thay have been known to get stuck up where the auger meets the drop chute (it is possible for the tiny blades to make a racket breaking up pellets there).
