Comments: 5 tons @ $239.76/ton or 4 tons @ $245.97/ton, incl. tax & delivery. Apparently all the HDs in the Hudson Valley area (from at least Fishkill up through Catskill) are running a special thru Sept 30, which is as follows... the base price/ton is $249 before tax & delivery. They then offer bulk discounts up to 5 tons, where the 5 ton price comes down to $222/ton, and totals $239.76/ton after tax (8%) and delivery ($65). You can order, pay and schedule delivery all by phone. The brands of pellets varies from store to store.

Comments: 229.07/ton delivered when buying 4 tons. Pennington Nature's Heat. cheaper for 5 tons. Also have Stove Chow and Fireside. You can only buy them when you see them in the store and must take delivery that day, or have pay for HD to deliver it. Stock comes and goes as per manager usually within a day or two.
