My wife tells me she saw something move inside the Defiant Encore window. For several days I looked but was unable to find anything. I did learn that if I hit the stove something would move. I did the chimney stuff from up above - lowering rope and leaving overnight etc. I even used the chimney sweep to see if it would come out of our stove. Finally I started disassembling my stove. I could finally see the squirrel behind the stove where it could go back and forth to avoid me. After much effort I called the Humane Society for animals. She could not coax the guy out either. We eventually got the stove wall (the wall you would see looking straight in) out along with a piece that hangs against this wall and swings. There he was naked and afraid � he jumped, no he flew out of the stove and ran on my wall (leaving soot marks everywhere). After a little while and a lot of fun we netted the guy. I asked her to let it go in the back yard. Oh yeah, I rewired my chimney stack to minimize gaps.

Problem is I cannot get those last two pieces to go back together in their place. I can do one or the other but not both. Guess I�ll ask online.
