We have one colorful and interesting customer. She owns a pellet insert, also has a daycare business in home. She has done a great job of barricading the stove so the wee little gems don’t burn themselves on the glass… accordion gates, etc. We get called one day, and the pellet stove wont feed. Upon inspection, it seems theres a racing car stuck in the auger....one of those matchbox cars....
Obviously, the kids were able to access the stove....so, she took even more measures...and then we get another call a few months or so later...now theres smoke coming out of the distribution gratework...and it sure smells bad! So we hurry on over figuring the firebox has been breached or something and the stove is spewing noxious smoke into the wee little gems lungs.....only to find out that someone has placed a crayola crayon into the grate!
Kids certainly get underestimated, don’t they?
