I recently had a chance to watch a new DVD from a set (of 2)….called:

This is a really nice DVD set for those who learn best with visual cues! There are chapters on choosing your wood burning appliance, chain sawing and chain saw maintenance, splitting, stacking and handling firewood, starting and maintaining a fire, safety equipment, cleaning a simple chimney and maintaining the performance of your stove.

The materials is provided in a down-home fashion by a husband and wife team who had, years ago, taken the plunge themselves and then had to learn the hard way! Being pros in the Video field, they decided to make it a little easier for future buyers!

A great holiday present for the wood burner in the family…..or yourself.

For those with a shorter attention span who need just a few points or a refresher course, the HPBA (our trade org) has produced a Video which is online….and can also be ordered as a DVD.
