Likes: Puts out a lot of heat. Operates most of the time without the blower coming on. Load it up and it will keep the house warm overnight with wood or coals left in the morning.

Dislikes: Functional but certainly not beautiful. Hard to use in warmer weather (50 degrees and above). We either use the pellet stove or the heat pump for warmer days.

Comments: Unit was with house when we bought it in 2002. Pervious owner did not duct it at all, just dumped the heat into basement room. It was too hot in the basement and cool in the upstairs. I finally got up the courage to cut a hole in the ceiling/floor and run a duct up to the first floor. That made a world of difference. Wonderful heat through most of the single story ranch. The duct creates enough draft so that the blower rarely needs to run.
