Likes: Tremendous heat producer - price includes optional blower kit which makes a big difference in moving heat. Very "pretty" stove. Cast iron really does hold heat longer than steel. Easy to operate.

Dislikes: Not a big fan of the double front doors - can be clumsy to open with detachable handle, and messy as significant ashes always drop out when opened. No problems with side door; use it exclusively for loading.

Comments: "Real" burn time is 4-6 hours of stovetop temps averaging 400 degrees. Will have 200-250 degree temps (and coals for restart) after 10-12 hours - still blowing warm air from blower, but not much radiant heat at that point. Not really seeing significant wood savings over my old pre-EPA steel stove of similar size, but much more heat output, so all things equal, a definite improvement and investment as supplemental propane usage has been cut in half.
