Likes: gorgeous unit, easily-controlled fire, heats up both front room and the two rooms above (due to proximity of staircase), nice window for fire-watching, easy ash removal


Dislikes: like most cast-iron stoves with new enamel, the first few fires smelled absolutely terrible until the enamel cured - it needs to get to about 500 degrees three separate times before it dissipates


Comments: We love it - completely transformed our winter experience here in the bitter cold of upstate New York.
