Likes: Attractive stove and surround. 25' chimney liner draws really well. Surprising heat output when fired up. Easy to regulate air flow.
Dislikes: Blower is loud, although ours has a control like a dimmer switch that's really nice. If we're sitting in the room, we keep the fan on low and it's fine. The glass does get dirty and i'm a bit finicky so i clean it after every burn with water and a bit of ash powder.
Comments: This is our first wood stove and there is definitely a learning curve. I've been making the mental transition from fireplace to stove. It does go through alot of wood when burnng hot, though that's probably common for any stove. I was reluctant to give up the open burn of a fireplace but the ambience of the stove is great and we don't have to worry about stray sparks flying into the room! The design of the flames is actually fascinating. We would definitely buy this model again! (In the spring when we bought it, the price was reduced $400!)
