Likes: Burns well and the blowers really deliver the heat without being too noisy. Looks good. Seems well-built.
Dislikes: It cost a lot but I think I can save enough on propane to pay it back over as little as 2 winters.
Comments: I had a Lopi Declaration installed into an existing stone fireplace December 2009. The total price including tax and installation was about $4500. This included a 22' flexible chimney lining. Overall I'm really happy with this stove. At first the blowers didn't kick on but the installer came back and connected a wire that should have been connected all along and things are working well now. I have propane-fired baseboard heat that I have set to regulate at 66 when people are home in the evening. I had the stove going with blowers on last night and it got the thermostat up to 71 in a couple hours. I have only been using it a week but so far efficiency seems good. I couldn't believe the flames actually looked like the pictures in the catalog.
