Likes: Burns hot (we run it between 5-600 but it can do 700 24/7)and clean (best emission rating of any .08) and being a top loader you can really stuff it plus the ashpan is big swings out and has a removeable cover that you can carry the ashes outside with--no shoveling of ashes also burns a very deep bed of coals-no restarting of the fire during the season
Dislikes: the catalytic converter needs to be cleaned periodically (easy to do yourself following the manual) and will need replacing every 7 years or so-we still havent replaced ours and are in our 6th season
Comments: this is the thoroughbred of stoves it runs hot to get it going open the ashpan and wait till it hits 4-450 then close it, close the big damper when it hits 600 and the little one afterwards unless your wood is wet
