Likes: I bought this as stove used, it had previously been in a ski cottage and was lightly used, although it was over 16 years old. It heats very efficiently - almost too efficiently, although many people said it would be too small for my needs.

Dislikes: The ash pan is on the small side. It requires cleaning after only a few days of use. It also fails to catch a percentage of the ashes, which must be removed manually.

Comments: This stove is very similar to the current "Large Federal," which is in production with some modifications. It is no longer offered as a wood/coal combo. Well worth a look from the cost/value perspective.
