Likes: I have had this unit for 2 winters an really the only positive thing I can say about it is it looks good. Other than that, quite a disapointment.
Dislikes: Woke up the other morning and the plate which holds the catalytic had fallen down and is now hanging by one bolt. Due to the heat the bolts have snapped off.....
Manufacture came to our house in 2009 and had to remanufacture the air intake lever so it would operate properly as you couldn't open or close the lever. Also, they had to grind down the right hand lever so the flu work work correctly.
Obviously they are just producing these units with design flaws.
We also still have cold air coming into our house form the unit.
Comments: Unfortunatly probably one of the worst decisions has been to buy this unit. I emailed Vermont Casting and still have not heard from them with what they are going to do. Now it is 4 days later...
