Likes: Having a gas insert is potentially a convenient source of heat and an attractive fire. Fireplace insert looks good.


Dislikes: Horrible customer service from Travis Industries. They have no phone number so I e-mailed some questions and got a rude misspelled reply which didn't answer any of my questions. Travis Industries does not want to deal directly with customers and is not helpful to their retailers either. My dealer told me he practically had to beg to get replacement parts (which were covered by my warranty) from the manufacturer. Dealer was nearly impossible to get a hold of after the sale. Pilot constantly blew out and nobody knows why. Finally hired a gas contractor from my own pocket to fix. All in an insert less than 1 year old.


Comments: I would never buy this model again and would think twice before buying anything from Travis Industries because they don't have any customer service. Why can't I get a hold of them directly?
