Likes: produces little smoke, uses wood efficiently, wood burns completely overnite, viewing glass stays fairly clean--side edges seem to accumulate stuff, fire bricks cut easily with a small bow saw.
Dislikes: Top fire brick baffle - sliding damper assembly - and angle iron assembly requires patience to reassemble - it arrived with substantial shifting and fire brick breakage. Can't figure how to use the thermostat control disc effectively with a front mount blower assembly, blower assembly electrical cord kind of short but can be rewired to work on either side and the variable speed control gives a wide range of airflows.
Comments: Travis industries should look at a large bubble pack inserted into the stove to stablize the top damper and baffle assemblies. Also, inclusion of addition fire bricks in a bubble type packing system would save a week of waiting to receive replacement fire bricks, some of which were also broken in transit.
