Likes: Heavy welded togeather steel unit. Production item, no handfitting. Bricks fit poorly! Fan quiet, seems to work well. Surrounds are too small. Damper is not well made. Bought 2002! Little good to say about it!


Dislikes: This insert is advertised as heating 1500 to 1800 sq. ft. It will not do it! Heats the one room, rest of the house remains somewhat cool! It is advertised as making 8 to 9 hour overnight burns. Will not even come close, different woods used!


Comments: I complained to dealer and they told me they could not do anything. I complained to manufacturer, they put me in contact with sales manager (Don) who was no help at all! When I got louder with complaints he discontinued our e-mails!!! I advise buyers of all kinds of stoves to stay away from Breckwell! Quality is mediocre compared with units like Osburn and they do not back their merchandise!!
