On the positive side, my fellow mods and I are probably on the relatively level part......(except pen).
On the other hand, it looks like I am already a lot dumber than when I started Hearth.com
:)

At the rate I'm lossing my memory........uh what?

You are having withdrawals from not partaking in the "Ash Can"....I can tell because you have whipped out one of your friggin charts....:p

I always say....
"I have a good memory dammit....it is just a short one"......
(I am prolly having some TIA's though).....:(

Jeopardy tryouts are on the 28th...hopefully you remember that. This will make 7 yrs in a row I try out.....i have not been chosen to appear on the show yet. This IS my year. When I am chosen I will get myself a Hearth.com T-shirt to wear during the show. Go Team!
If you forget about the chart you may "feel" like you can still remember things.

I like it just the way it is. Every thing in my life happened just like I remember it. No matter what my wife says. She's old. Her memory is bad. ;)

Mr Gamma has a "selective memory"...like the rest of you mudders...
He threw out our wedding video and my wedding shower video recently....
That mudder is on "the list"...He said it was not "marked" appropriately....
Bullchit....he is gonna pay let me tell ya....friggin e-lax for months..he ain't gonna need that prune juice that he always asks for when I go to the grocery store...

Gamma, you seriously need to digitize that stuff and then use mozy or carbonite besides having it on your puter.....

Anything you really want to keep should be in multiple places.....

I even take my old hard drives to another physical location in case this house burns down.

Are you sure you will remember what other physical location it is located?o_O
Ha...J/K...
I know...good point....

What happens after the 80's according to this chart is what concerns me.

I'm sorry,did someone say something?

Not to worry, just run "defrag". Over the years we forget Parts of things that are unimportant and the remaining things clutter up our brains. That is what takes up space and does not allow room for more!! You are not loosing your memory, simply misplacing it.

More like a database re-org job.

I am very unorganized - because I always had a good memory, so never developed habits like a calendar or schedule!

Seriously...never had a schedule......
Now I am going to have to fix some of that......like strap an iphone to my arm and have it remind me of anything and everything.

I used to the same way, It SUCKS to get old!!!!

What's a memory?

Never had a Daytimer or any of that stuff. Just always remembered the stuff. I still remember the day that didn't work. Bought a Palm Pilot the next day.

Digital back up and hard copy. Hard copy often gets lost. Buckets of old slides, and drawers full of old pic's. Best access is when I sort them out in digital format and make back ups. Made a lot of DVDs but can't help but feel that in the not so distant future, those dvd's will become obsolete and may not be able to be viewed. Remember all that data on those floppies and zip drives?. I had to toss buckets of them because I could no longer access them.
I recently saw one senior'sapartment cleaned out after she went to a nursing home. All her picture albums went to the dump. So sad!

As much as I love technology I cannot imagine any hard drive holding my baby pics as long as that cedar chest of Mom's has.

Ya'll are going to be ideal candidates for hiding the Easter eggs this year.
