Well... I have talked about getting rid of the Quadrafire CB 1200 for a year. It was between the CPM, M-55 steel, or Enerzone Euromax (Drolet 65).

I finally pulled the trigger on a New CPM from AMFM Energy. Yes... A New CPM. But I got it at a refurb price ($1100). It was a factory second with a grinding blemish on the top amd the door handle is slightly crooked. So I now have a Multi fuel Furnace and Freestander upstairs.

It should be here by this weekend. Big thanks to Mike Holton (went above and beyond) who went to England Stove Works on Easter Sunday to take pics for me. Also a Big thanks to Andy from AMFM. Both stand up guys.

No pics as of now. And I am going to build a raised hearth and paint the dining room, along with install Selkirk Direct Temp with 3' rise inside. So its a total redesign of the dining room. Lots of pics will follow. If you have followed my Fahrenheit install thread, or my 30-NC install thread. You will know that this will take some time. But rather than scatter the info. I would rather it all be here. Stove wont truly fire inside the house until this coming Fall.. But the install will happen over the next couple months.

Thanks to imacman, Jrsdws, jdempsey, and all the new CPM owners this year.. This will be my 3rd ESW product at my household. Can't wait...!!

Been a long time coming. But next Winter will be a good one. Still have to tinker with the Fahrenheit, as I didn't get a lot of time to run it. With the Mild Winter we had....

Congrats on the new addition! Hopefully you jinxed yourself and we'll get an early summer now : ) You could always turn the AC on and let em battle it out....for scientific testing purposes of course.
 
Thanks..... Definitely gonna get some pre-burn pics in the drive or garage....

Not gonna even think of firing it in the house until Fall.. I am going to ride this Spring out with the Quad. My Father is going to get a great deal on it and all the extra parts I have for it. I got him a Free 01 25-PDV last fall. So has had 1 season of burning under his belt...

He is stoked to get an auto ignite stove with a t-stat. I am stoked to get a stove with an agitator and also the Hi/Low Auto/Off funtion...... Win-Win.....

Im gonna try????? Definitely gonna keep.it in the garage for at least a month. I have a lot of drywall and siding work to do, before it even comes into the house. It will probably be close to July/August before I get it on its new (raised) Hearth...

Hoping anyways. But your right.... It was 65° at night when I installed my Woodstove last Fall. I still had it Crankin! !

ROTFLMAO!!! No Bear.... I dont have it down long enough during cleanings to get cold toes...

Having over 100,000 more BTU's (not counting my LP furnace) at my disposal. I hope to NEVER have cold toes like other Forum members ;)

Just wanted to be certain you were comfortable, remember as you get older you'll slow down, the cleanings will take longer and the room will cool off more, and being old you'll get creaky and cranky when cold (temperature below 85::F and wearing Arctic wear).
 
Congrats Dex...Obviously spring sprung early this year on your money tree! Let me know when you need someone to rake up the remainder of the cash in the fall!

Waiting for the pre-burn photos. Must admit I was hoping you would get the M55...Selfish, But I figured You would know it inside in out way before me, even with my one year head start! >>
 
The M-55 steel was in my sight..... But I decided to get a couple other things.

Im not gonna complain about my New Saw (MS460) and my new Mower (Dixie Choper 74"). If I wouldn't have bought those 2 items. The M-55 may still be an option.... I am glad I got the CPM... I may try and beat imacmans record! !! ;)

I'm still willing to come help you with your Spring Cleaning on your unit. Maybe even do the LBT to it :)

You tried hard and got a super deal! Good for you! Then you can try burning corn, cherry pits and sunflower seeds eeh?

Your dad will like that Quad on the T-Stat, I was very,very impressed with the MFD year 2,000 Quad I had wow! The loop igniter works so well with the T-Stat and that jam proof auger is really good!

What is your dad going to do with the 25-PDV? I am sure that is still going strong.

P.S. I know where you can get some real nice LED rope light for a hearth in custom lengths! LOL

Good for you,Dex!! You have been wanting a multi fueler for quite some time!!! How many times have you read the manual already??? LOL Debbye and I cant wait to see pics!!!

Yep.... I burned straight corn in my Quad before. Didnt do bad. But I am gonna love tryin to burn anything I can get my hands on ;)
