100_6986.JPG100_6997.JPG Both Jack Russell's, Lily is 13, gets two shots a day for diabetes, can still see a little, gets around fine, and Benny is 10 weeks old. Man they have a ball here on the farm. Benny has made a young girl out of Lily.

For what ever reason, the name Bennie just seems right for the lil fella. I can well imagine he is a hoot to watch......................

Bennie's a great little guy, only going to be 8 pounds. I see you have a Rotti. We use to have a male and female. Our male Rudy was the best dog we ever had. Loved people, kids, and was just full of life!

we have a little Jack Russell, she's going to be 13 in August. She has been through the ringer over the years (one time she got into some poison and we almost lost her, she was mauled by a large dog several years ago and made it through that, and quite a few other things) but she's still kicking.......

I think you get out of your dogs what you put into them. If you pay attention to them and keep them involved in your life, they reward you back 10 times over. Amazing how dogs can recover from some tough situations. Maybe their will to be with their best friends, us!

Yup, can't agree more. To prove the best friend theory, try locking both your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car. Wait a half hour and then open the trunk. Guess whos happier to see you....................................................

If I did that, my wife would have me deader than chit before the dog even had a chance to wag her stub!

I'm still laughing;lol

Looking @ your picture, your grass looks as brown as mine, LOL
The hay dried out quick this year. Guy that hays my fields said they could have almost baled it the same day it was cut. It's been that dry here. Parts of my lawn acres are brown, yippee a break from mowing. Earlier in the summer it was pathetic just trying to keep up with the mowing. Dry as a popcorn fart right now, and no real rain for another week. Thank God I switched to soaker hoses for the garden this year.

Nice pics. Nice dogs Charly. Thanks for sharing.

Missing from the picture is another Shepard mix, she's 15 years old and my big male cat TC , for Top Cat, that was a cartoon years ago, and Benny was his side kick. That name went to my new Jack Russell.

Adorable pic of the two of them on the hay bale.

Nice picture as well!!!!!!! He or she is a beautiful looking dog. Nice markings! They are a big dog in a little body. I think you have to be the right people for that breed of dog, otherwise your hear how out of control they are. My little guy comes when he's called, 12 weeks old now, we gave him tiny pieces of jerky when he was in his learning stages. You definitely want them to see you as the alpha dog. My young guy has made a young woman out of my 13 year old terrorist! Little guy even hangs out while I clean the chickens roosting boards daily. I always said they'd watch you put nuts on bolts! Yesterday my big tom cat brought in a red squirrel through our doggie door and let it go in the house to start a little terrorist action. I wound up opening the back door and let it out. Our cat loves to brings us all kinds of live surprises and once inside the doggie door lets them go in the house, rabbits, flying squirrels and chipmunks. Just plays with them, never hurts them. Then we have to catch them and let them out. Just kills and eats the mice ,,, good cat!
