It's weird because the flood plain is really limited to right up near the river here. and we live on the "bluff" but in our case I use the word bluff loosely. So no, not in a flood plain but elevated, the plane doesn't REALLY surround our area, but I guess that depends on perspective. Go south 7 miles and the zones come out quite a bit more. Go north 20 miles and same story.
