I haven't. Maybe ask in the Classic stove forum?

"The Catalytic add-on damper is not recommended for outdoor furnaces or EPA approved wood stoves."

Old unit from '82 called the Smoke Dragon

http://firecatcombustors.blogspot.com/2008/08/catalytic-retrofits-for-6-and-8-flue.html

"In the mid 80's there were at least 15 catalytic retrofit manufacturers in the United States. However, with the coming of new EPA-certified wood burning stoves, retrofit were sold less and less. Most of these manufactures are gone today, but I know of one one model is still sold today.
The Cat-1000, as it is called today, can still be purchased by contacting Woodman's Parts Plus. They manufacture a retrofit that fits in a 6" or 8" flue size. This catalytic retrofit has been around for many years.

Catalytic retrofits have been tested by several independent testing laboratories over the years.
Results showed the that some catalytic retrofits decreased Burn rate KG/hr by 50.8% and Particulate emissions by 49%, while increasing Thermal efficiency by 9.2% when used on a pre-phase I, non-catalytic wood burning stove."

I have. It does not work. No matter how hot I got the fire burning or how hot the flue pipe was, the cat combustor would not light off.
I believe the problem is that the cat needs oxygen to burn and in the flue pipe where you would locate it, there is very little oxygen left.
Most if it was used up in the firebox.
The manufacturer did not want to take it back. Fortunately my credit card company went to bat for me and would not honor the charge after I was able to document that someone up there had signed for it when I returned it.
It seems like a great idea to clean up the smoke, however for me it did not work at all.
I originally bought it because the Jotel stove I had would smoke when I throttled it down and I thought this would help.
I returned the combuster as well as the Jotel Firelight to Jotel and bought a Woodstock Progress instead. Now all is well with the world.
Hope this helps!!!!!

You are probably lucky that cat never did light off. I wouldnt want the only thing between me and a 1200 degree catalyst to be a sheet os 24g steel smoke pipe. You know what i mean?
And that right there is one of my main concerns.
