Started the day by running 13+ miles. Then went to church. Then "ate fresh" with wife and kids at Subway. Then got to use a Speeco 28 ton to split a cord (plus?) of crap that's been sitting around waiting for me to get to it. I did do it vertically, and used a milk-crate like God intended when he created the hydraulic splitter from Adam's extra rib. (I do have pics on my phone to prove that I used something other than a maul to split this stuff, they will be forthcoming.)

Now I'm on Beer #3 watching the Packers play.

Living the good life!

(Carry on.)

Ah, youth.
I walked three miles and ate some reheated brussel sprouts. I did see a rainbow, though, which is sorta like church.
If things go well, I'll watch an episode of Breaking Bad tonight (netflix).

Got up this morning, listened to my joints creaking. Drank a pot of coffee and ate my blueberry pancakes. since its raining here today, the motorcycle stayed parked. Watched football all day and now gonna watch some more. Kind of a lost day as the STEELERS have a bye this week.

I got tired just reading your post.........

Just got back from my date with a beautiful lady. Brother went with mommy to the place of his choosing (a decent restaurant, actually). Sister picked the place for our date and chose Taco Bell. She insisted that we dress up.

Pretty young lady and it sounds like all had a nice day/evening.

I walked from the house to the driveway and took a trailer load of stuff to the dump. Came back and walked from the driveway to the house.

Saw a lot of football, did ya? ;lol

(My daughter was born on a Sunday in October 1984. Her mom went into labor at 0 dark 30 & we headed off to Long Beach Naval Hospital to check her in. Dang daughter refused to be born until about 1530 that afternoon. To this day, I remind her every chance I get that she made me miss the (then) LA Raiders - SF Forty Niners game. She's turned into a big-time Saints fan these days, so she actually can grasp the significance of my plaint. <>)

Congratulations to all!...the fun has just begun. Is this your first?

This is my 5th "rodeo"...so to speak.

BTW, Danno...the pics of you & your daughter are delightful. She's a doll!

I sorted through my books and got rid of a bunch. It hurt like heck to do that, but not quite so much as giving birth !!! . Moved some information out of my head via an online exam. Rebuked the advances of a neighbor. Ran some uglies through the 30. Piled the fridge rejects into the crockpot for stone soup.
Trimmed the fat all around today.

Got up. Grabbed a coffee. Perused fb & hearth.com. Compiled a grocery list. Went to market & fulfilled said list. Made big ole leftovers into a yummy frittata sorta concoction. Dragged out 24' of my super snake. Put the 4" cutter on one end & my 1/2" drill on the other. Worked it in & under the house & cut out a bunch of capillary roots, from some tree that is more than 40' from the penetration. Flushed about 4lbs of copper sulfate & let it sit in the line for an hour to try to kill them bastiges. Dragged the now smelly & root impacted snake back to the basement. Watched Ryder Cup (Loss) Yankee game (Win). Football (didn't care). NCIS (LA) & Blue Bloods On the DVR. Read some pages in a book. Fell asleep. Woke up again in October...
