Nice.

I brought in a box of wood (from the pile into the garage) to let some of the rain of the last two weeks dry off it. Ugly weather we've been having. Expecting some cold weather in the next week with lows maybe touching frost levels so figured I'd best be ready here.

I think fall is clearly in the air - time for all of us to get ready.... Last year we got our first (and largest) snow on Oct 30th.

great setup backwoods.

isn't it awesome to heat your house in the fall with cutoffs, uglies, scraps etc. i just burned a broken maple chair the other day!

Nice to see you are all ready for winter Dennis!

We have had a few small fires in the evenings here just to brighten things up a bit and take the chill off the air a bit.

Nice timely reminder to get a stash indoors for when it's too wet and windy to be outside collecting firewood....... ;)

This year the big snow wants to wait in case Woodstock has a late Open House.

Get rid of some of that Coors and there will be much more usable room for wood. ;lol

Dennis,
Exactly what one would expect from a veteran burner such as yourself. You plan ahead and as the season approaches you are ready. A lesson for sure.
Take care,
Tim
