View attachment 78068 This log 33 from the grapple load. A red oak, but look at the next row back which is white oak. The lower left log....Is that a face? or I am just seeing things. Got to lay off the sauce....really.
It might come back to haunt ya if you burn it. Took alot of years to grow that face.

OK I got one.....Small stack from 14" White Oak snag dropped one rainy day May 2011 some 40 ft SW of my woodshed....Look closely now.....

2nd row from the top,2nd log from the left.... Is that me with my winter beard,Tommy Chong,or Jerry Garcia? ;)

Okay, so I don't believe in voo-doo or hocus pocus, etc. It's a piece of wood! What is the best way to cut this up and hang it on a wall. It's just too cool to let it burn up. Might get 2 or 3 of them if it goes deep enough.

Thanks,
Bruce

Nah.... within a week it was split & added to the almost full shed with the rest of it. Didnt notice the image until a family member commented on the photo several weeks later.
