It might snow here in CT next week. No one really knows. Just got my power back after Sandy and decided to try and tarp the sides of my shed to keep the snow out since the side walls are not done.

Looks funny, but seems to work. Need to get three more bungees on there to be finished. I stole that slanted front door style from someone on here. If it survives the Nor'easter then I'll keep it this way.

Also, as a bonus, I was at the NY wool and sheep festival and they had an exhibition on old timey wood working. I took a picture to share.Classic wood tools.JPG

Looks good
Hope the Nor'easter is a mild one ;)

Nice pics :)

Am thinking the front tarp is going to be the first to go.

Perhaps a couple ties going all the way across that front tarp might help a lot. I hope the snow misses you too.

I can't picture what you mean. Just one of the large ties from one post to the other pulling the tarp tight?

Thank You

One all the way across about 1/2 the way up and the other 2/3 the way up. Just tie the ends to the corner posts of the shed. It might help if a big wind comes through; especially those swirling winds. You may even have to re-tighten them from time to time.

Yes that is what I thought, just got two of those large yellow cords and am going to do that before the Nor'easter

Thank You
