I have at least two cords of hickory near the house. I am now stacking all future wood in a cleared field.
I have many more cords of hickory to process, so I began today with a bunch of rounds that I had cut up during the summer.

Nice work be some nice wood.

Hickory is great. And that smell, flavoring food ect. Nice pic, kinda hard to tell, but it looks like its sitting on the ground, which would be a breeding ground for rotting wood.

Looks great TimJ, just another wood we don't have on the property.

Well Seasoned it is sitting well off the ground on sassafrass saplings ....
hauled about 20 more big rounds to the splitting area for the next time

My mistake, I do see on the bottom left of the stack. Hard to tell from my phone. Again, nice stack. A couple pieces on the grill with some ribs, mmmm mmmm mmm!
