Ya thanks a lot, I'm on a diet and I gotta look at all that great food. I wonder if they have turkey rice cakes?

See zap the vertical splitting club must be shrinking!

Nice pics, time for breakfast!

Yeah, yeah, yeah......old news.
We want pics from this year. Go kill a gobble, gobble. We'll wait.
There's a pretty good sized (I guess) turkey.........ranch? west of here on the way to Traverse City. We went by there a few weeks ago, and they had several hundred (SWAG).
Next time we go by, they won't be there.
Drool is soooo.... unbecoming.

Thanks, all that tryptofan is making me........sleepy........zzzzzzz

I'm thinking I might take the wife out to McDonald's for a Thanksgiving dinner.

Round 5 o'clock I say, "Hope this dinner is going to be over by 6pm." My wife taking the bait gives me a glaring look. WTF?! "Gotta get down to Walmart by 8pm hon", I say. "There's hot sales awaiting." Took a moment to sink in, then she was angry and relieved and laughing all at the same time. Happy Thanksgiving all. Stay away from the malls and stay close to family.

Article in paper about a fight over a crocpot at Walmart during midnight sale.

Sometimes I am really glad to live in a state that has Blue Laws so retail workers can spend the day with their friends and families . . . pretty sad though since I suspect if this law wasn't in place a lot of folks would prioritize getting that good deal vs. spending time with their friends and families.

Jake, Blue Laws is something new to me. I presume that means the stores stay closed? If so, I like it. I've never liked it since most went to being open on Sundays and Holidays. Six days per week should be plenty.

Well they changed those laws a few years ago to allow stores to be open on Sundays . . . but holidays are still set aside for folks to celebrate with families and friends . . . well, providing they are not working in law enforcement, nursing, firefighting, EMS . . . .
