The sides are really for leaves and lawn debris (I can dump a push-mower bag more than 3 times now!) than wood but it does let me toss splits in loose without worrying about stacking them. ==c

Nice lookin' set-up.
Did you make the sides or buy them? If you made them, good work!

Nice job MasterMech, you'll really be able to stack the trash and the good stuff in there now.

I've been wanting to make some for my poly dump cart. Did you fasten the front to the sides? I'm worried about the side bowing out if I don't.

Nice. My Cub Cadet cart came with high sides on it. They make it very easy to overload the cart and blow out the wheel bearings

This is how.

I'd really like to invest in a well made cart some day.

Sweet!
Next upgrade to be a hydraulic ram for dumping ? :)

Most likely an electric actuator if I ever decide to do that. Poly carts don't really dump that well tho. :( No removable tailgate.

Thanks! Homemade but definitely not cheap. Was surprised at the total bill ($80) even with buying a boxes of 100 for the hardware.

Here is a lousy pic but yeah I did fasten the front to the sides. Poly carts aren't known for being "square" in every dimension. ;) If were to do it again, I'd make the front fit in front of (rather than inside) the sides and use window bolts. The eye-hooks work well but I think the window bolts would've looked nicer.

This one is well matched to the tractor, capacity/weight-wise. I'd like something a bit heavier duty but then I'd have to start looking for a real garden tractor to haul it with!

I've got a real garden tractor, but a lawn mower cart.

I have an ohio steel dump cart that i haven't figured out how to overload yet...it is a beast. I recommend it.

Here's mine I recently made. Luckily the leaf suspension took most of the impact of the tree. Its only slightly bent.
