The title says it all! If you need more pellets for the burning season, definitely check out this sale. Looks like they just got in a bunch of new brands. Their tonnage prices are the lowest I've seen from them this season. I was paying $6.50/bag for the La Cretes elsewhere so $5.49 sounds great for a really hot pellet. Just wanted to pass this on.

LOL they must remember me, they put a maximum

OMV, do you have enough? I'm sure you can make more space. There's a couple of pellets there that you haven't tried. Or have you settled on your pellet of choice now (Somersets) and not looking to add more to your stash?

2 things I noticed.

1) HOLY FRICKEN PELLET CHOICES!! Glad that place isn't near me.

2) Love-Less brand vacuum? Um, hello? That's like naming a pellet "Smolders".

I would love to get a lot more pellets but space is limited. We're finishing our basement so only have space for three tons at a time or bags here and there around the house. I would love to take the Somersets off your hands but then I would have to kick one of the kids out of their bedroom to store it. So now I'm relegated to buying "test quantities" and trying to blow through some of my less desirable stash to make room for more. Your stash is sick!!! Absolutely sick! Wish I could get that sick!

yeah im all set like corkman said, im bulging at the seams LOL.Going to try to go the season on straight Somersets And i wouldnt travel all that way to be limited to bags. I never bought a bag, just Tons
I have 2 ton of Somersets left i cant fit inside, probably throw them on craigslist
I had a mouse hit my previous stash Put a damper on the outside storage ( in a dry portable carport ) . All the plastic wrap on the pallets and they ignore that and get to the bags to naw on and make their nest with it. Only lost a few bags

See guys the mouse costume works .... road trip.

I'll take 25 bags of those sets off your hands.

Getting 2 tons of sets delivered tomorrow and i usually use 2 and 1/2 tons

Is it just me, or is this 'normal' pricing? I don't see anything worth the drive. It's all normal pricing to me. $5 for the cheap stuff, 5.50 for the better stuff.... same ol same ol'

The per ton prices look much cheaper to me around these parts....
I agree these don't look like Black Friday type pricing, nothing worth hocking up a trailer to go get.
Good try by the dealer to try and capitalize on the season.

Yeah, the variety is nice, and i'd like to try some of them, but after factoring in the fuel cost to get there and back, i'm better off getting name brand proven stuff locally.

Those are pretty good prices for around these parts. May be worth a bit of a drive for me. A couple of decent looking candidates that I hadnt heard of are the AWF Ultra Premium Softies and the North Country Softies. Anyone have any intel on these brands?

He should open at midnight. I have to work Friday during the day!!!

I was just going to post the same thing. I used to get my pellets from them but the $65 delivery charge is just outrageous. It's a flat fee no matter where they deliver and I'm only 2 towns over so I can't see paying $65 to have them delivered. They are great though and have a huge variety.

I can't speak to all the pellets but the Lecretes are priced very low. I'm actually sick to my stomach because over the summer I paid $369 for a pallet of Lecretes. I'm someone who will pay a premium for good pellets and the ton is 65 bags not 50 bags so it works out to $5.67 a bag which isn't bad. If I had a means to pick these up I would pick up 2 -3 tons. It's a very good price on a great pellet! Next year I may invest in a trailer so I can do pick ups. I'm just not certain if my 4 runner can pull a ton of pellets. I need to do some homework before I invest in a trailer.

Pelelts up that way are high even on sale i guess!! I can get somersets for 3.54/ bag all day long from 2 diffferent places. Also if dealer went w/ maybe 2 brands and bought more volume he maybe able to sell at a lower price. seems strange to have that many brands, after alll they are all still made of wood!!

Like Brian said there's no deals there. HOCUS POCUS suck you in. Max of 20 bags? pfft. pass.

Information...I look at this page all the time and there's ALOT of new pellets on there that they don't normally carry. Buyer beware...

Lacretes have been selling in the same town at Royal Fireside since last MAY at $369 for a 65 bag pallet. $20 cheaper. Oh wow. Better scramble down there by 5am or you won't get in line. Better yet bring a tent and a backup generator with a pellet stove. cuz your gonna be camping out on Quaker Highway there's gonna be such a big demand here.

I'd just like to get a few brands they have that I can't seem to find locally. Most of the pellet dealers in my area sell for a flat rate per bag price of $6.00 anyway. Brand doesn't matter and you only get the break on the ton purchase.

Interested brands.
LaCrete
North Country
Trebio
Appalachian
A.W.F. softies

If anyone in NW CT see these available locally, Please share. Taking a run up there probably won't happen!

J- Im interested in some of those brands too. I may hunt down that way friday and will try to grab a few bags of some of those of those and see how they run in my Advance. Im not equiped to do reviews as well as you but Ill be more than willing to grab a few bags and let you know what i think of them

Not exactly "local" to you, but Primo Pellets in Wallingford has Appalachian Hardwood for $239/ton

65 isn't outrageous for delivery i don't think. Around here it's 50 for the first ton, and 5-10 for each additional ton, + each town away, or someting like that.

Limits are lame though. I won't be going out there for it. I'll go local, spend $5 more a ton, and save $80 in fuel costs. lol
