Do you have an OAK? Is your R/H pretty high (relative humidity)??

I would love to poke blame at the Sets

But I Effin no better

That was my first thought moisture, but no OAK 74 F in here dry as a bone
sure hope i didnt catch a bad load of sets lol

I get this with most of the good hardwoods that an amount of oak in them. Cubex and Turmans to name a couple. Had a batch of Hamers do it too. Think the oak has a sticky sap like the softies in its fiber and when the embers fly out of the pot they stick to the cast iron. I also get some stuck on my fire grate above my burnpot liner. Swipes right off and is nothin big to deal with. A small price to pay for all the heat they give off! As long as they aren't clinkering, I wouldn't worry!

I too will take them off your hands if you don't like em.

im burning them in my stove right now and i got nothing like that.

your stove may be plugged up from the other brands you were using.

give the stove a good clean, load in the sets and enjoy

But im hoping that's the case mixing the other junk pellets

Yea dont worry about different batches. Ive been burning them for 5 years and they have always been consistant.

This problem is from other pellets or dirty air passages in your stove for sure.

But of course i can stop by tomorrow and take the rest of the sets off your hands for 100 a ton if you want.

I can be there with a trailer around 9 am

I get those when my stove runs on low too long, except they look more like cocoons or mud tubes in my case.
