That is one seriously hairy launch! _g

Then again, not only would I save time in transport, I could unload just by backing up to the pile and mashing the gas. ::-)

If it pulls a wheelie, does that count as a dump truck? !!!;lol

I've ridden in a few 10 second diesel trucks...but they didn't do that. Amazing it hooks up like that in two wheel drive.

Rumor has it, although I've never actually seen it, that there was a local guy with an old C-10 that could lift the front on a concrete road with street tires, so this doesn't completely shock me....but still firmly raised both eyebrows.

I'm a diesel guy also. My '04 Dodge/Cummins dynoed at 383HP and 797ft.lbs. about 3 years ago. Yeah, she's not all OEM!!!! I don't drag or brag. The guys with diesels, that I know that drag, have 4x4's and launch in 4wd so they don't roast tires and for a better launch. Some of them are in the 11's.

How'd you like to be opposite that on the strip???!!!!

This is what happens when a local guy does a boosted launch in 2wd. I think it is around 500HP and flat-lined the torque at 1200 last time it dyno'd.
