Premier Pellets Appalachian Hardwood are an Energex pellet. I burned them for a couple a seasons with decent results. Decent heat but a bit ashy. Similar to stove chow.

Burn MWP SOFTWOOD

(the MWP Blend is only good for horse bedding IMO)
Burning Country Boy. In my opinion, they are just as good as Sommersets.

Burning Turmans, all I have bought so far this year. The least ash I have ever experienced out of a wood pellet.

Just bought a couple of CRAPPE all softwood pellets...I'm sold on them.....in my Thelin they burnt like a champ...great heat output on my probe (located on the stove output vent grate).,,,,also VERY low ash so far...the pellets are very clean and have a light light tan color..looks like NO BARK at all....and they smell great...I'm going to buy 2 Canadian tons this weekend (metric)...I think it contains 70 bags in a pallet..1.4 tons...price at $315.00...only about 8 miles from me..located in Medway Maine. Compaired to MWP my other choice...the MWP has a fuller bag...seems like the Crappe bag contains less pellets..??..anyways I always thought the MWP gave you a good load in a 40lbs bag..

hey, ruckus. : )
bottomed out at 6 degrees over here this morning.
the siding, house wrap and extra insulation we got over the summer are making a big difference.

The MWP are not compressed as most other brands, so when the bags are filled by weight, versus volume ~ they appear to have more in them. Still 40 pounds, either way.

Got a bag and a half left of Green Supremes, I'll be thrilled tomorrow night when I can switch to the Green Teams I just picked up. Gonna be nice to see my stove not loading up with ash every 5 days.

Burnin up my Okies leftover from last year, then onto Spruce Pointe for the rest of the season.

Shoulder season is back here in MI. Now burning magic spark

Been burning the North American hard/soft blend. Nice heat actually. Lots of fluffy ash - not a big deal.
@Steve - re: the Dry Creek - definitely not bad but not for $270 IMHO.

Just put in a bag of Northern.

Was burning MWP Softies, but the last couple of days have been burning Black Hills Okies

Still burning the pros, just shut my stove down to to give it a rest since it's 47 out. I did just bring in a weeks + supply out if the shed into my storage area in the house.

Leave the cat food for the cats. It doesn't burn that well.
