4" OAK flex pipe Y valve/damper?

Ok, I have a 4" flex pipe under my hearth floor (between joicing) going out side of house, and it is terminated at my hearth floor behind the stove, with a 4" flex pipe connector "barrel" (the kind you would use to simply attach two peices of flex pipe together). I'm not sure if I will need or use the OAK for my stove, but since the OAK pipe was already there, I worked it into my new hearth just in case.

I would like to connect it to a Y type valve, that would allow me to "select" either outside air, or inside air (other side of Y). This way I can get the OAK for my stove, connect it up, and then select outside or inside air with the simple switch of the Y valve selector/damper.

So where do I get a 4" Y valve pipe?

Why? I can see the desire for an on/off damper but outside air for your stove is always superior to burning heated, humidified, conditioned, interior air.

Why?

Because my house a two storie house on stilts, which makes it 3 stories high, and on the water with no protecrtion from the ocean wind/storms.... The outside air intake is on the side of the house, 2 stories up. When the wind on LI is blowing 5 to 10 knots, it's blowing 20 to 30 knots at my house. When it's stormy and blowing 20 to 40 knots (as expected tonight!), it's 40 to 60 at my house. I'm sure strong winds blowing into the OAK would have an affect on the fire. I have a special wind/weather cap similar to a vacu-stack type cap on the chimney, so I'm not to worried about that since the same cap on my oil burner now works fine. My old oil burner cap 9normal cap) blew out a couple buners (blowbacks...).

So I want to use the OAK most of the time during normal conditions, and have the ability to switch it to inside when very windy out.... Make sense?

Do a search under 4'' Y-Connector Dust Fitting and a couple blast gates. This might work for you. These are used in dust collection systems inexpensive and plastic so they wont rust.
