Yea, I did all the work myself, took about 2 months to do everything. The right side wall had a window in so that took a bit to remove and fill in and reside the house. This was my first ever tiling job so took a little bit to get going but once I got into a routine it was pretty easy. Helps to have a nice wet tile saw too! Got to add that to my collection.

I was very close to putting a XXV in but when I found this stove I couldn't pass it up for the price and everything it came with. Maybe a XXV in the future and I'll put this one down stairs. We'll see, just loving it right now! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Thanks for the additional pics. You sure have one hell of a focal point there. You should be proud.

Amazing what 20 2x4's some cement board, 140 sqft of tile, lights, and time can do. Again job well done and glad that was not a big box store stove in there.

It's direct vented out the rear with and OAK. (Direct temp venting) I just didn't have a picture that shows it.
Thanks, I figured as much but in all of those photos of the prep and construction I didnt see any venting.....it is really beautiful. Someone said it earlier but you really should send that to the Harman folks for posting on their FB page.

Very nice setup! Now I feel like I have to do something to 'perk' my stove up!
