I take care of the pellet stove 95% of the time. I also cook, clean and usually do most of the yard work. I can use the snow blower too, if necessary. Only thing is, when something break's my husband is sure that I used it last. I nicely let him know that I can fix that by not ever touching the stove, vacuum cleaner, pellet stove, snow blower or lawn mower ever again. :)

l told you this would get good!

I thought I was the only wife that got blamed for breaking things (though it usually is my fault lol). When I told my husband that I wanted to have the stove as a project for me, he told me to make sure to use the right tools and call out for ANY help. Needless to say, I started out using the WRONG tools to try and fix the stove. My husband told me that pliers are not used for everything.

Lesson learned: Take time to teach the wife so that she REALLY understands or things will get broken. hehehe

She's a good girl, but every time I try to show her something about the stove she says I'm obsessed. I was gone for 7 days. She did good for 6. I didn't yell or anything. Just showed her what the problem was. It wasn't that big of a deal. I just had to vent.

Oh, I break things too. Not on purpose but because I like to mow (use to like to mow) and will use the snowblower if he isn't home, I am usually the last one to use them when something happens. I guess it's a good trade off. I do the work and he maintains them. I just have to remind him sometimes that if it seems like I break everything, it's because I'm using everything.

This was a fun topic! Then again I have a weird sense of humor. No worries!

My wife's repair threat "I'll just get a new one." I get things fixed fast!

I suspect I'm played like a fiddle
