So I have a little Husky saw for limbing. Went to put a new chain on it yesterday, and found out the plastic gear for tensioning the chain is stripped where it mates with the metal gears. Planned obsolence I guess to make the consumer spend money on parts?

I understand it is a consumer level saw, but I expected better than this.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Depending on where you got it, talk to your dealer or write Husky a quick e-mail describing the problem.

A friend from my military days is actually a senior VP for Electrolux, but unfortunately it seems they sold off Husqvarna awhile ago. Oh well.

I've just found a nicely worded letter describing your disgust with a product goes a long way, even out of warranty, especially for minor problems they can send parts for.

Yah, and I will do that. Just sad that I no longer have a direct conduit like I did in years past.

Do they have a Facebook page? I find that often works best, they hate bad press.
