I just found 2.5 on another website... I will adjust. I made a mistake and thought the bags were 50 lbs each and not 40.

I updated my spread sheet.. Over all saving did not change because it was calculated using the correct conversion.. what did change was the equivalent oil used per month.

Only 17 bags burned since october? Guess you are mainly heating with wood and only supplementing with the pellets
I had to edit my previous post... I have burned 37 bags since October. I am heating a 400 sq ft wing of my ranch. Main 1500 ft is heated by a wood insert. I just received my last oil bill and it appears that these are pretty good estimates although it is hard to compare because we know keep the room much warmer than we did when we heated it with oil... my guess is an average of 4 degrees warmer.

That is the problem with trying to compare the wood pellets to oil. before i had the stove i kept the t stat at 66 (cold) and now the house is in the 70's big difference. The oil consumption would go up alot if i was to heat the house in the 70,s with oil

You can ask my wife she was always cold covered in blankets and yesterday she told me to turn the stove down it was like a SAUNA in here lol

I've been running in manual, heat level 5 (the highest), program 1 (the lowest of 4), just about 11 hours/ bag, straight MWP softwood

Shock Top in the fridge those are hers and You better Not touch them:mad:
Dam it! Back to the PBR I guess. If I cant find PBR ill look for Milwaukee's Best. If I drink that too long though, I'll have to buy a Ford. Suicide watch for me!

Busch Light will do! It is a lot less popular here in Idaho than it was in Ohio. One thing I miss since I have moved is Genesee Cream Ale. Haven't seen it once since I moved from Ohio!

When I flew to visit a friend in California, I used to take a case of Genny Cream as my 2nd checked bag. It wouldn't be worth the bag fees these days.

Nice

I appreciate it! My first beer ever was a genny cream ale. Stole it from dads cooler and drank it with the neighbor boy in the tree house. Hooked ever since lol. We have Black Star out here. Little more hoppy but similar.

I hear ya,.. Im sitting on 41/2 tons of Sets,.... and find myself picking up 10-15 bags of Chow locally just to keep myself from digging into the sets,... . the satisfaction of knowing we have the best stash,.. the uncertainty of getting more,.. a form of hoarding,.. a sickness,..a dark side,.. wait!!!... I'll be right back >>>>

Geezzz... I plan to run out to HD tomorrow and grab 25 bags of Chow, so I don't dip into the Somersets! Like minds! Yeah, just don't know if I will ever see the "Sets" in my neck of the woods again.... You hit that right on the head! ==c
