Hello everyone!

I inherited a pellet stove from my in-laws several years ago and have used it for the past four seasons. I am in the need for some parts - if I can identify the unit. There appears to be no data plate or brand name anywhere on the stove.
The auger jammed on me yesterday due to creosote and being bent - apparently it had been like that before I ever inherited the thing, based on the wear on the auger. I also wonder if it's worth fixing as the top baffle in the firebox is eroded although it had been heating fine. I have included a photo to help with identification.

Regards,

Ken

That is a very unique looking stove you have there. Did you try pulling it out? Maybe the id is on the backside. But I would not be surprised if someone came along and gave it a name.

There is two for sale in MN. Very popular in this area or at least had a good sales pitch. Yes, its a dovetech. Lots of luck, you will need all you can get. Most ended up as scrap.

lol. Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It sorta reminds me of a stereo system my parents have when I was very young. It sported an 8 track, turntable , am/fm, it was full of tubes and big as a couch. Kept the living room warm too :p .

Heh heh heh... I never said it was pretty - but it was free... I looked for an ID plate on the back before I installed it - there was none. Having a name is at least a good start to find parts; many of them look like off-the-shelf bits one could find at a hardware store or Grainger. My first post was in error; we've been running this thing for six years - it replaced a Fisher wood stove that had a fire box too small to keep burning all night no matter what. I straightened the auger yesterday and got it up and running - before someting else broke. Oh, well. Thanks to all of you for all of your quick replies. If I can't fix this one I'll find another - these things heat too well to be overlooked; my central heating/air is serving as back-up and it is a pale imitation...

Good luck keeping the old girl running. If you ever get ready for a new one be sure to stop by and let us know!
