I was out and cleaned the snow away from mine twice last night and once today 
Is there any reason that the OAK couldn't be extended up the side of the house....say with a piece of rain gutter down tube with a turn down on the top?

I was getting the stove going in the morning and thought it was a bit sluggish. Looked out the window and put 2+2 together.
